Parenting is tough. There, we said it. There’s no manual for the challenges of parenting we all inevitably face. But that’s why Idaho Youth Ranch is here to help with the Nurturing Parenting Program.
Nurturing Parenting Program is a proven program that targets parents of children, ages 8 to 17, who are looking or in need of tools and skills to build or improve their relationship with their kids and teens.
The goal of Nurturing Parenting courses is to help parents identify and change patterns of thinking and behavior in order to improve or have healthy meaningful relationships with their child or children.
Through this group parents will learn skills including:
- what is nature vs nurture
- how to identify negative and positive nurturing relationships
- understanding one’s self to better understand their relationships
- tools and skills for having and maintaining positive nurturing relationships
