We are seeking a mission-driven Vice President of Retail Operations to lead Idaho Youth Ranch’s thrift stores, distribution operations, e-commerce, and vehicle sales. As a key organizational leader, you’ll ensure our enterprises are financially strong, mission-driven, and aligned with our values—balancing retail excellence with social impact.

Since 1953, Idaho Youth Ranch has provided hope to young people and families across the state of Idaho. Today, we are one of Idaho’s largest and oldest nonprofits, serving youth ages 9–24 through therapies, residential care, adoption services, and career readiness programs.

That mission is made possible in large part through our thriving social enterprises. With dedicated team members and a statewide network of thrift stores, distribution operations, e-commerce, and vehicle sales, we generate critical revenue and create hands-on training opportunities that directly fuel life-changing programs for Idaho’s youth.

Your Leadership Will Drive Strategy & Operations

Shape and guide the vision, strategy, and performance of our social enterprises.
Partner with the Senior Leadership Team to align enterprise growth with organizational goals.
Model and nurture our organization's culture and values across all enterprise operations.
Lead retail operations, distribution, e-commerce, and vehicle sales teams to ensure consistent customer experience and mission alignment.
Manage P&L accountability, budgeting, and retail analytics to ensure a sustainable social enterprise model.
Build scalable systems, controls, and processes to support long-term success.

Your Leadership Will Strengthen People & Mission

Collaborate with programs leadership to expand youth training, employee development, and other mission-focused initiatives within social enterprises.
Partner with the Chief Advancement Officer to maximize donor, shopper, and community engagement.
Position stores and enterprises as ambassadors for Idaho Youth Ranch's mission in local communities.
Create a people-centered, growth-oriented workplace for staff and volunteers.
Recruit, mentor, and empower team members to succeed personally and professionally.
Lead the Social Enterprise Committee, engaging volunteers and community supporters in sustaining a strong business model.
