Kristina Brennan
Adoptions Specialist, Coeur d'Alene
I am a mother to four children, and married into a family that has been touched by adoption. This experience showed me the rewards that are inherent in adopting children, and allowed me to witness the life-long journey that adoption presents. I have traveled to Guatemala to be a part of reuniting my brother-in-law and my sister-in-law with their birth mother. I support the Eagle’s Nest orphanage in Solala, Guatemala with my time and resources. My passion is educating and preparing families for their adoption journey. In 2005, I was presented with the “Mary Johnson Adoption” award from the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare for helping to achieve timely permanency for Idaho’s children and for service to adoptive families in Idaho.
Experience and education:
- Experience in foster care and adoptions since 1999
- Licensed Social Worker (LSW) and Certified Adoption Professional
- Received Bachelor’s in Social Work (BSW) from Lewis-Clark State College
