Erin Brodin

Adoptions Specialist, Coeur d'Alene

I became interested in adoption and foster care through life/work experiences that included trying to start a family of my own and helping individuals and families with challenging situations while working in case management services. As a maternity counseling specialist, each day is different, and helping birth parents with the challenges and rewards of adoption makes every day special. My passion, ability to empathize, work hard, and maintain a sense of humor has given me the skills to help others. I enjoy the challenge of working with a variety of populations and feel honored to be able to guide families through the decision-making process to determine whether to parent or make an adoption plan for their child.

Experience and education:

  • Experience in case management, maternity counseling and adoptions since 2004
  • Licensed Social Worker (LSW)
  • Received Bachelor’s in Social Work (BSW) from Lewis-Clark State College
