Donna Euler 

Adoptions Program Supervisor, Coeur d'Alene

Donna Euler, the Adoption Program Supervisor and has been with the program in Coeur d’Alene since 1986.

Her family was profoundly affected by a closed adoption experience which motivated her to educate both birth parents and adoptive parents about the benefits of open adoption and the positive impact it has on children who are placed for adoption.  Her passion is assisting potential adoptive parents make sense of the sometimes confusing process of adoption and helping them decide which type of adoption is the best for their family. Over the course of her career, she has helped hundreds of families adopt children and has also helped facilitate adoption plans for dozens of birth parents who were facing crisis pregnancies.

She has a Master’s degree in Rehabilitation Counseling and is a Certified Adoption Professional.  She has extensive child welfare and adoption experience in both the public and non-profit sector.  She was chosen as one of two Idahoans in 2002 to receive the Congressional Coalition on Adoption’s “Angels in Adoption” Award given by the United States House of Representatives.
