Creating a welcoming environment and a safe space for clients is my top priority. It is my goal to provide an atmosphere where individuals feel valued so they can heal while discovering their unique identity, dignity and worth as a human being. It brings me joy to witness individuals discover their strengths and realize they are resilient and have gifts and talents they can offer. I am a firm believer that, while adversity is a part of life, it is not our destiny, and anyone can turn struggles into triumphs with a little belief and support. I aim to provide this support as clients explore and discover their authentic way of being in the world and are empowered to use who they are, their gifts and talents to benefit the relationships in their lives.

As an equine therapist, I will work collaboratively, as equal partners, with the client and therapeutic team to assist the client in discovering and accessing the resources, they many times already possess, to help them achieve the goals they have. I believe it is my role to journey alongside them as they explore and find these resources so they can begin utilizing them and creating the life and relationships they long for. I love working with individuals who have experienced relational trauma and find it rewarding to provide a safe relationship where healing can happen. There is nothing more rewarding than watching someone who has been closed tightly to protect themselves begin to open up and blossom into the beautiful being they were always meant to be.

I earned my master's and bachelor's degree in Social Work from Boise State University. I am a licensed master social workers in the state of Idaho. I also hold an EAGALA Professional Certification from Global EAGALA Network and a Lay Counseling Certificate from the Allender Center in Seattle.

In my spare time, I love spending time with family, friends, pups, and horses. I enjoy being outdoors camping, exploring, quadding, horseback riding, and being on the water. Nature speaks to my soul, and I love enjoying a beautiful sunrise or sunset.
