Everyone Shops: What is it?

 - image

On Saturday, October 14, the Idaho Youth Ranch will hold our second annual “Everyone Shops” event. But what is “Everyone Shops”?

You may know Idaho Youth Ranch as “that thrift store with a funny name,” but did you know that you’re helping fund six programs across the state, aimed at providing services to at-risk Idaho youth and their families?

The idea around “Everyone Shops” centers around the idea that if everyone in the state of Idaho shopped at an Idaho Youth Ranch Thrift Store on one day, enough revenue would be generated to end our waitlists.

The need for services we offer is only growing and we cannot keep up with the demand. We often have to put families who desperately need our help on a wait list. These kids, and their families, cannot wait for services.

These are kids and their families who may have no other place to turn. We may be their last resort.

And we never turn a child or their family away because they cannot pay.

Did you know the Idaho Youth Ranch typically gets three calls a day from parents, loved ones, sometimes court systems, asking for our help?

That’s 1,095 calls per year.

By shopping with us on Saturday, October 14, you’re not just buying a pair of jeans or picking up a few books, you’re helping us help Idaho’s most at-risk youth and their families.

By shopping with us, you can change the path of a troubled child.

By shopping with us, you can help promise a better future.

This year, Everyone Shops has expanded to include all our stores across the state, including Coeur d’Alene, Post Falls, Lewiston, Idaho Falls, Pocatello, Blackfoot, Twin Falls, Burley, Jerome and Buhl.

As a way to say thank you for shopping with us during Everyone Shops, you’ll get 30% off your purchase.*
