The FSD is responsible for all of the operations of an IYR Community Services program including but not limited to, counseling, case management, transition and aftercare, skill building, wraparound, reintegration, and recovery support services as applicable to the specific site. The FSD manages operations and supervises professional staff in the delivery of therapeutic services and case management of youth and families who are referred by government, local and private agencies or other private entities. Positions supervised by the FSD vary depending on the size of the program. The FSD works under the general direction of the Community Services Administrator.

The Clinician has primary responsibility for the therapeutic components of the program. He conducts assessments, develops service plans, and provides multifaceted clinical therapy and/or rehabilitative services to youth residents and their families. The Clinician provides clinical consultation to team members.
The Community Services Clinician II (CSC II) has primary responsibility for the therapeutic and skill building components of the program. He conducts assessments, develops service plans/phase, and provides multifaceted clinical therapy and/or skill building services to youth and their families. The Clinician provides clinical consultation to team members as well.
The Reintegration Specialist (RS) provides case management, service coordination, assessment, individual counseling, family counseling (skill building) and resource development for assigned youth placed in IYR residential programs. The RS provides services throughout all of the phases of the treatment process (i.e., foundation, transition and reintegration phases).

The Youth Specialist has primary responsibility to provide direct supervision to individual youth or groups of youth. The Youth Specialist may supervise youth in a number of settings, including: the residence, school, recreation areas, dining area, and in the community during program outings. 1. The Adoption Social Worker (ASW) provides services to infants/children available for adoptive placement. The ASW provides services to pregnant women, and birthfathers, prospective adoptive parents applying to Idaho Youth Ranch Adoption Services and families applying to other adoption agencies, independent (non-agency) adoptions, and inter-country adoptions. The ASW also provides services relating to public relations, publicity, and community education. The ASW Oversees service provided in Kootenai County.
