PRESIDENT & CEO

Steve Woodworth joined the Idaho Youth Ranch in 1995. He holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration from Boise State University. His past experience includes positions as a chief juvenile probation officer, chief of the state’s Juvenile Justice Bureau, and regional director for the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare. Steve is past president of the Idaho Correctional Association and Idaho Council of Youth Service Providers. In his leisure time, Steve enjoys golf, boating and spending time with his family at their cabin near Idaho City.

SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT FOR PROGRAMS

Dr. Robert Ball oversees youth and family programs. He received his Ph.D. in psychology from the University of Southern California, with specialization in Marriage and Family therapy. Bob’s past experience includes positions in schools, group homes, community mental health centers, and psychiatric hospitals. Prior to heading up programs at The Idaho Ranch in 1994, Bob served as the regional administrator of the state’s children's mental health program. Bob has presented on various program-related topics throughout the country including restorative justice, victim-offender mediation, strength-based practices, behavior management, adolescent development, and family issues. He has two boys and enjoys mountain biking, snowboarding, and camping.

EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT & CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER

Rick Alis oversees the organization’s human resource and legal departments as well as overall agency operations. Rick graduated from the United States Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs with a degree in Political Science and served as a flight instructor and evaluator for the Air Force. He received his Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Texas at Austin and held numerous positions in the legal sector including prosecutor, legal counsel, civil litigator, and college instructor prior to joining the Idaho Youth Ranch in 2002 as human resources director and in-house counsel. Born and raised in the Chicago area, Rick considers himself a life-long, long-suffering Cubs fan.

VICE PRESIDENT & CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER

Nancy Proctor manages budgets, accounting policies, strategic business plans and information technology systems for the organization. Nancy received her degree in accounting from Boise State University. Her previous positions include vast experience with health care entities including Saint Alphonsus, Evergreen Healthcare Management, Brim, PulmoCare Pharmacy and Blue Cross of Washington and Alaska. Nancy enjoys quilting, needlepoint, traveling adventures, and a love of archeology.

VICE PRESIDENT OF DEVELOPMENT, MARKETING & COMMUNICATIONS

Tracy Rowe served as the executive director of the Hays Shelter Home for 15 years prior to joining the Idaho Youth Ranch administration. She served as the Quality Assurance Director, VP of Administration, and VP & Chief Strategic Officer prior to her current position. Her educational background is in social work, business and computer information systems. Tracy enjoys rock climbing, golf and gardening.

VICE PRESIDENT OF BUSINESS ENTERPRISE

Jeff Myers oversees the management of a chain of 27 Idaho Youth Ranch Thrift Stores, an E-Commerce business and a vehicle sales operation. These businesses play an essential role in funding IYR's work to rescue children who face dangerous situations in our communities. Jeff began his career with Procter & Gamble (P&G), the international consumer goods corporation. Jeff served as P&G's brand manager of beauty care when he left in 2002 to join the Meredith Corporation, a leading media and marketing company. From 2010 to 2011, he served Meredith as vice president of E-commerce and digital and consumer marketing. Jeff holds a master of business administration degree from the University of Iowa. Since 2002, he has served on the university’s School of Management Advisory Council in the Henry B. Tippie College of Business.
